Happy Seeds Education
Happy Seeds Education Centre is commited to becoming one of the most recognized and respected educational institutions in the world.
Happy Seeds Education Centre was established in 2000 and all of our courses are taught using our dual teacher system: classes led by a Native English Teacher but supported by a local Cantonese-speaking teacher. Students learn English here in a pleasant environment following our systematic and proven teaching methods. Over the past two decades, we have taught over 12,000 students.

All our courses are taught with our unique dual teacher approach. Each class is led by a Native English Teacher supported by a local Cantonese-speaking teacher for maximum understanding.

We pay careful attention to each student’s English level and learning ability as well as promoting natural classroom interaction in a fun way.

Local Cantonese-speaking Teacher:

Our tailor-made Cambridge writing course for Hong Kong was established 20 years ago and has been evolving ever since.

Our courses’ lower levels are based on Cambridge University Press’ Movers and Flyers textbooks.

In higher levels, we cover and utilize Cambridge’s A2 Key and B1 Preliminary textbooks.

All levels are taught by a Native English Teacher supported by a local Cantonese-speaking teacher.

We have a comprehensive approach to English, targeting and improving students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

We put a special focus on grammar and writing, major weaknesses in many Hong Kong children.

We learn useful vocabulary, improve grammar, and develop ideas.

We help our students not only achieve more readable writing but writing which is interesting in and of itself.

Our education centre was founded in 2000. For more than 20 years, our unique approach has laid a solid English foundation for countless students and improved their English proficiency specifically in response to the weaknesses of Hong Kong students.

We have taught more than 12,000 students so far, from schools including: La Salle Primary School, Ying Wa Primary School, Diocesan Girls’ Junior School, St. Paul’s Co-educational College, Diocesan Girls’ School, Heep Yunn School, Diocesan Boys’ School, Good Hope School, etc.

Great leap forward in writing, reading and speaking
Following an introduction from a friend, I brought my daughter to learn English here. Compared with two years ago, my daughter has made a great leap forward in writing, reading and speaking. I don’t have to worry about her English homework at all. She reads English books for fun and her school has even invited her to give speeches in English. Seeing that my daughter is doing so well, of course, I signed my son up for the phonics course. Now that he has been taught and encouraged here, he often tries to spell new words on his own and he even tells short stories to me, making me extremely happy! The teachers here also teach me how to practice at home with my children so that I can further help my children improve their English.

I didn’t have to worry about reading anymore
Because I am busy with work, I often failed to follow up with my daughter’s English in person. But after she took the phonics and conversational English classes here, I didn’t have to worry about reading anymore. Even though she doesn’t understand the meaning of every words, she can read them all. One time, we came across a word that even I couldn’t read but she could read it with ease. I was very impressed. Her reading and writing of English sentences has also improved significantly, with her making only a few mistakes.

She is bolder when she speaks English, which builds her confidence
My daughter began to learn English at Happy Seeds in K3. She’s moved from phonics class, conversational English class to writing class. Now she is in P6. Although she was very scared when she first started learning English, the phonics class taught her skills for spelling and phonics, which was very helpful for reading and school dictation. In addition, she had more opportunities to communicate with Native English Teachers, which made her speak more English. She is bolder when she speaks English, which builds her confidence. Now she can get good results on her homework and English listening, speaking, reading and writing tests, so I don’t have to worry about it.
